Anthony Joshua’s undisputed world title fight against Tyson Fury”will occur”, says promoter Eddie Hearn, who says he’ll do”everything it takes” to agree a deal.
Britain’s heavyweight rivals hold all of the world names as Fury maintained the WBC belt with a stunning stoppage win Deontay Wilder in vegas at the weekend, although Joshua regained his WBA’super’, IBF and WBO straps at a rematch victory over Andy Ruiz Jr in December.
Matchroom Boxing boss Hearn demonstrated he talked to Joshua to talk Fury second being fought by him and has promised to thrash out provisions for a battle.
Hearn told Sky Sports News:”He is promoted by Bob Arum predominantly. Frank Warren can be involved, MTK are his administration company. I’ve spoke to Top Rank and I’ve spoke after the fight straight to MTK.
“Everybody is extremely clear with this. Everybody wants this struggle – Matchroom, Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, MTK Frank Warren.
“There are a few hurdles to conquer the broadcasting, however, nothing too much.
“I promise you this battle will take place. If we must fight Pulev, we’ve got to conquer Pulev, and he has got to beat Wilder again if he’s got to struggle Wilder. Both of those things will take place. Fury will beat Wilder and Wilder will knock Pulev wash out, despite Bob Arum telling us.
“You will find this fight. We will do everything that it can take to make this fight”
