CS:GO pros preview ECS Season 8 Finals
It’s nearly the end of another Strike and here’s everything you can expect from day among the ECS Season 8 Finals — previewed by the gamers.
On one of North America Evil Geniuses, the Berlin Major runner ups will be carrying Initially, to kickstart the group stages at the ECS S8 Finals.
Have had their ups and downs this season and later failing to appear at recent occasions, Tarik’Tarik’ Celik acknowledges that the lack of consistency was an issue for his side.
He said:”We’ve been really inconsistent, doing well in one event and bombing out in the following. It’s unacceptable because we would like to uphold ourselves to a particular standard and that is something as we talk, we’re working to find out.
“Even going to this event it’s a fairly significant one to us. So we’re hoping we could turn things around the couple have been pretty tough. It’s only an issue of developing a consistent system inside the team which is something we’re working .”
His trainer, Chet’ImAPet’ Singh goes into more details as to why they’ve looked sloppy but nevertheless they have a opportunity against AVANGAR.
He told Sky Sports:”We’ve not had opportunities to exercise as much since everyone’s programs have been very busy. We’re currently trying to practice as far as we could so we can be as ready as we maintain our soul and could be.
“We have not jumped into the new patch so we are not really certain how we’ll perform. We are not as ready as we need to be although obviously we will have an opportunity to.
“I’d say AVANGAR really are a fairly good group, when we played with them at the Major they were actually on stage. They take a lot of dangers and gambles but as long as we appear it should be a pretty fair match for people.”
On the opposite side, enormous improvements have been witnessed by AVANGAR to their performances this year and their Rifler Alexey’qikert’ Golubev feels positive about.
He said:”Generally speaking, this year was pretty great for all of us. We added our roster and SANJI and AdreN and I liked playing them and having them. We made it to the closing that is Major you know so I think it was a fantastic year in general. I have really enjoyed this year but it’s still important to show up at ECS, it’s not done yet.”
One of the most exciting matches of the day belongs to Team Liquid v Ninjas in Pyjamas. Both sides met in Copenhagen as well as the surprise of many, NiP arrived on top, something Simon’twist’ Eliasson considers can be duplicated at ECS.
He explained:”Obviously I think we’ll have the ability to beat them after Copenhagen. No, we’re not really afraid of them. We’ve been putting out a few performances and I think we’ve got what is necessary to win the tournament. I feel confident because we have been really well.”
But, Liquid’s Jake’Stewie2k’ Yip thinks they are still among the strong favourites, not only in the tournament but for their opening match against NiP.
He explained:”I would say that we’re one of the favourites going into this championship without being cocky or something like that. I think the only other group that’s looking very good is Astralis and we’re on top. Our confidence is pretty high right now, there are a whole great deal of teams we actually wish to play against such as MiBR, EG and notably Astralis – we’d really like to meet them in the closing.”
The CS:GO team of time, Astralis, will be competing in the hopes of winning another occasion at the ECS S8 finals.
They weren’t able to help it straight back in ECS London from Spring to where their trainer Danny’zonic’ Sorensen admits was because of a lack of preparation.
He told Sky Sports:”It has been a good season for us obviously through the Spring we’d bit of a downfall. It wasn’t intended but it was significant for me that after we won the important we took it somewhat slow since I could see that some of the gamers were getting tired.
“For us, it is about winning the most prestigious tournaments so that it was about preparing for Berlin. Unfortunately ECS London fell into a time where we did not put as much work as we might have. It was just bad timing, we go into each tournament to try and acquire it but it turned out to be a time for everybody.
“From an objectives point of view, I feel as though we are better suited to this tournament. We’ve got more energy after the summer that was really good. However, this is going to be a challenging tournament with a few challenging competitions we’re just preparing for our game against Sharks.”
As it came against Sharks for their match, despite being the favorites, Astralis’ in-game leader Lukas’gla1ve’ Rossander reckons it will not be an easy feat.
He explained:”I’m not too positive if it’s going to be simple, if you take a look at Sharks, they have been winning against teams such as Team Liquid. So I think that it’s likely to be a game, I am not too confident due to all of the changes – it’s likely to be great to play . Last time we lost from Furia and this time we are going to be taking on a second Brazilian team so hopefully we shoot some kind of revenge I guess.”
Last but not least and MIBR will have the task of trying to shoot Fnatic down and a fantastic prospect of providing them a run for their money, respectively.
Like Astralis, MIBR struggled at Epitacio although ECS London’TACO’ p Melo insists that they’re a new team entering this tournament.
He explained:”We had a very different lineup in ECS London than the one we’ve got today so we’re not really considering the previous ECS. We’ve got different chemistries now with the roster so we’re really confident at the work we have been putting in in the past week so I’d say we are coming in new for the tournament.”
MIBR have left several roster changes this year, including the accession of Vito’ kNgV – ‘ Giusepe who believes his side have what it takes to beat on Fnatic.
He explained:”We are pretty confident to go up against Fnatic. Yes, they are the favorite but we’re really prepared for them. They can have the odds in their favour but it’s all about the best team winning in the server on the day so we are ready for them”
