Chisora’s director David Haye is hopeful that a fight can be compared last 33, with Usyk, who indicated his debut with a stoppage win over Chazz Witherspoon in the heavyweight division.
Bellew challenged Usyk for all four cruiserweight belts last November, suffering an eighth-round stoppage reduction and Haye considers crucial strategic advice can be passed by the Merseysider.
Haye told Sky Sports:”He fought Usyk, ” he sparred with Derek Chisora. I believe Tony Bellew’s insight into the strengths and the weaknesses, and what he believes Derek can execute in a struggle with him would be priceless.
“It’ll be definitely a thing that Derek will be up for. I will be up for it, the coach of Derek Chisora, Steve Broughton will surely be interested in hearing someone as seasoned as his thoughts Tony Bellew and perspectives.
“One hundred percent, I’d like to choose Tony’s brain about what he feels the strategies should be. Angles, punch assortment. I would like to receive his perspective on it.”
Promoter Eddie Hearn has suggested the WBO belt might be using a domain likely to become empty after Anthony Joshua’s rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr on December 7, at stake for Usyk-Chisora, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
“Eddie enjoys the battle. I love the battle. Usyk loves the battle and Chisora loves the battle, so it looks like everyone’s on the exact identical page,” said Haye.
“There are no promotional battles, or there aren’t any television conflicts, and both fighters wish to battle each other. That’s the scenario you could request entering 2020 and looking for a fight from the first quarter.
“I believe myself and Eddie is going to have the ability to go through the details of it in the coming weeks. We ought to understand something fairly soon.”
Usyk is a 2012 Olympic gold medalist with a perfect record, but Team Chisora are convinced of creating a victory within the Ukrainian, who’s still adapting to the division.
Haye said:”I’m not likely to try to mention that Derek could match him skill for ability, but occasionally an attribute for example dimension, like power, like punch power – that nullifies the significant skill.
“Derek will not permit him to stay in scope, out-boxing him. Derek is not likely to go out there and really have a boxing game, why would he do that? Makes no sense. He has to have on his chest and grind it.
“Derek has been discriminated against southpaws and he has been having great success. It’s been for this instant where he reaches the entire world.”
