Dubai Tennis Championships: Dan Evans fights back to beat Fabio Fognini in first round

Number one Dan Evans fought back from one set down to beat fourth seed Fabio Fognini in the Dubai Tennis Championships round.
World amount 37 Evans prevailed in his first meeting with Fognini.
Not able to recover from 4-0 down in the first set, Evans awoke to win five of their last six games to take the second.
The two players dropped until Evans converted his sixth match point serve in the next set.
After the Frenchman beat Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka 7-5 6-2 on Tuesday evans will face Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the next round.
After losing to defending champion Gael Monfils earlier that month, Evans was pumped out of the Rotterdam Open at the quarter-final point.
Romania’s world number two Simona Halep conquer the Elena Rybakina at the final of the women’s event in Dubai of Kazakhstan on Saturday to claim her 20th WTA name.
