Eoin Morgan and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain help launch ‘Roar! for Diversity’

England’s World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan has really helped to launch a new primary school initiative that will help children celebrate diversity.
Morgan was joined by England footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Lawrence Community Primary School in Liverpool to support’Roar! For instance’, a curriculum-linked PSHE rivalry and resource for 7-11-year olds.
Available to download free of the Premier League Main Stars site (PLPrimaryStars.com) and the England and Wales Cricket Board’s spouse Chance to Shine (Chancetoshine.org), the Key Stage 2 source will make it possible for teachers to discuss with their course how diversity in a team will help to make it stronger.
Students may win match tickets or a school trip from the Premier League or even Cricket World Cup trophies and can make an advert celebrating diversity that could be entered into a competition.
The ‘Roar! For instance’ pack includes lesson plans and video tools featuring contributions from Sophia Dunkley England cricketers Adil Rashid along with Premier League match official Sian Massey-Ellis.
Morgan stated:”You just have to check out our World Cup-winning side from this summer to comprehend the strength that diversity brings to a group.
“We are a team from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures. By working together, encouraging each other and appreciating everyone’s differences and abilities, we’re definitely stronger together.”
Oxlade-Chamberlain added:”The successful teams bring together players with individual abilities and qualities to be able to attain success as a group. The Liverpool dressing room is home to gamers from over 20 nations. Everyone brings something different to this atmosphere onto and off the pitch!”
