For the draw for the round of 32 December, there has been a procedure involving seeded teams, Europa League group winners and these sides going into the contest having finished third in their Champions League teams.
Clubs from precisely the exact identical state were unable to confront each other – however, these restrictions and seedings are eliminated off at the stage. In essence, any group could provisionally be drawn against one of their other 15 remaining sides (save for any restrictions announced before the draw).
The legs are scheduled for Thursday together with the legs to be held on March 19. The draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals will take place.
