Ferrari crash was not acceptable, says team boss Mattia Binotto
Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto says Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc are aware their Brazilian Grand Prix crash was”not okay”.
The pair collided over the Interlagos circuit’s back straight since they raced for fourth place on 17 November, with the staff saying they’ve because”cleared the air”.
“We spoke together and I think they know what happened was not acceptable,” Binotto said.
“We understand how to move forward.”
As a consequence of the damage to their automobiles caused by the crash, since Leclerc’s front suspension broke and gave a puncture to Vettel both drivers were forced to retire in the race in Brazil.
Binotto, answering fans questions at a movie question-and-answer session, included:”You may believe they are in battle on the trail, but that isn’t the situation.
“The truth is they have fun with them, as they like an excellent and harmonious relationship, and it is maybe quite different to that which you may read or think.”
