Crewe and forest Green equally missed the opportunity to top the Sky Bet League Two table as they fired blanks.
Third-placed Crewe dominated the chunk for the opening five minutes, but it was Rovers in second who generated an opening that was almost decisive .
Dom Bernard’s inaugural encounter saw as he went to shoot inside the box, the darting Jack Aitchison obstructed.
