Golden Boy award: Joao Felix named best under-21 player in Europe
Atletico Madrid ahead Joao Felix has won the Golden Boy award for its ideal under-21 participant in Europe.
The 20-year-old Portugal global scored 18 goals for Benfica final year prior to a 126m euros (#113m) transfer to Atletico during the summer.
He has scored two goals in 10 La Liga looks for Atletico this particular term.

“I am very pleased,” said Felix. “It is the second time that a participant from Atletico Madrid has won this particular award and I am happy.”
Italian newspaper Tuttosport from 2003 created the Golden Boy award to recognise the greatest young player in Europe. Candidates play at a European country’s top grade and have to be under the age of 21.
Wayne Rooney (2004) and Raheem Sterling (2014) are preceding English winners of the award.
