Green Bay Packers 8-37 San Francisco 49ers: Niners stay on top with Packers rout
The San Francisco 49ers’ defense held Aaron Rodgers to only 104 yards passing while sacking him five times en route to a rout of the Green Bay Packers.
While delivering the Packers back to Green Bay in 8-3 the 49ers solidified their spot with a 10-1 record.
Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 253 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 20 attempts, completing 14 of these. His first 145.8 passer rating was about double that of his counterpart, Rodgers, that had too little time and too few open receivers.

As Garoppolo hit tight end George Kittle to get a 61-yard touchdown san Francisco wasted no time answering. While the Packers had 112 total yards by that point had 129 receiving yards.
When Garoppolo hit on receiver Kendrick Bourne to get a profit of 13 on third-and-10 together with in the game, it was the very first third-down transformation for both group. While the 49ers were 0-for-6, the Packers were 0-for-13. With Raheem Mostert punctuating the driveway with a 15-yard touchdown the Niners converted three third downs on that ownership.
