Hughie Fury withdraws from Pavel Sour fight because of virus
British heavyweight Hughie Fury has pulled out of his struggle with all the Czech Republic’s Pavel Sour due to a virus, only hours before their departure in Monte Carlo.
The pair have been on the undercard of this WBA welterweight title fight between Radzhab Butaev along with Alexander Besputin.
Fury, 25, lost by conclusion in August to Alexander Povetkin.
It was his third beat in 26 fights, with been conquered by Joseph Parker and Kubrat Pulev.
“Due to a virus Hughie Fury has unfortunately had to pull from his struggle tonight in Monaco,” said promoters Matchroom.
