The NFL schedule makers have put two games from the late Sunday window for Week 12. Another game at the time slot isn’t too shabby either while much of the attention will be devoted to the clash between New England Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys.
The Jacksonville Jaguars hit on the road to take a meeting, on the Tennessee Titans. The Jaguars are riding a two-game losing streak, while the Titans go into following upsetting the Kansas City Chiefs, the match from a bye that they entered into a high note.
Just a game divides both of these squads from the standings. There’s still time for the two teams to create a late push for the postseason, but the window is closing quickly. The race for the AFC South crown along with the convention’s Wild Card places is quite tight this season, so the margin for error the rest of the way is modest.
This is going to be this season for both of these teams’ second meeting. The Jaguars picked the first time is won by the house, but the team looked far better at that point. The Titans seem to be getting stronger as the season goes along. Let’s have a detailed look starting with the way the oddsmakers see it.

Fresh off of a bye week, the Jaguars traveled to confront with the Colts. Before the week off, the Houston Texans shellacked them over in London, so it was thought that a performance came. That idea turned out to be incorrect. The Colts dominated the match and walked off with a convincing 33-13 victory.
The Titans had off weekend. The last time the team was seen by us, they pulled out a victory over the visiting Kansas City Chiefs. The visitors went for a game-tying field goal at the end of regulation, but Tennessee set a bow on things by blocking the attempt. The Titans exited with a 35-32 win to pull at .500 on the year.
Jacksonville opened the year getting hammered by the Chiefs in the home up. Nick Foles went so it had been the Gardner Minshew series for many weeks. The rookie did a job, however Jacksonville has been streaky. The team has won back games but they have lost three times to successive games. Foles returned for last week’s loss to action.
Tennessee kicked off the day with a bang with a road victory over the Cleveland Browns. The success did not provide anything. Ryan Tannehill has taken over as newcomer to Marcus Mariota, and the group as a whole has begun to put it. The Titans enter this competition having won three of their past four games.
The Jaguars crime for a whole hasn’t been able to perform much in 2019, although minshew had his moments behind center. As he has found about a game and a half action thus far, the jury is out on Foles. The defense stays packed with ability, but that hasn’t translated into anything resembling the unit playing to its capacities. There were flashes, however, the defense has disappointed overall.
Foles has finished 69.1 percent of the passes for 3 scores and also a select in limited action. Leonard Fournette leads the way out of the backfield with a line of 182/854/1. DJ Chark has been a bright spot in the game and leads the team. Myles Jack leads the way on defense with 59 tackles, while rookie Josh Allen gets got the team lead with eight sacks.
While he had the keys to the crime mariota had some minutes that are favorable, but he had been inconsistent. Tannehill has jumped in and done a job. The game — namely Derrick Henry — was more productive. The defense has been a strength of the group. Tennessee also has had a nose for the ball.
Tannehill is finishing 71.3 percent of the passes for eight dozens versus four selections. For contrast, Mariota was at 59.1 for two and seven. Henry has had a variety of creature runs this year his line of 187/832/8. AJ Brown is your major receiver in 27/446/3. Rashaan Evans has the team lead with 82 tackles. Harold Landry III is tops on the squad with seven sacks.
Tennessee leads the all-time string over Jacksonville by a perimeter of 29-21. Earlier this season, the Jaguars won the first meeting that was head-to-head with a score of 20-7 in the home. The Titans had won the past four meetings in this series.
For the season so far, Jacksonville is currently against the spread and also on the Over/Under. Tennessee is 4-5-1 ATS and 5-5 on totals.
The Jaguars have been 6-16 straight-up as road underdogs and 12-9-1 ATS. The Titans have been as home favorites during 9-9 ATS and this interval.
When a team loses a match by double digits heading into a bye, then comes from the fracture losing another branch game by 10 points, then that’s a fairly large red flag. That’s the situation at hand to the Jaguars heading to Week 12.
The Titans went with a high note with a victory over the Chiefs week into their bye. All told, the group has won three of its final four matches to pull .500 on this season. They’re right on the cusp of being a factor in the playoff hunt — or falling by the wayside — so the upcoming few games are going to tell.
We’ll expect a better effort now round, but it might not be enough. Titans cover and win.
