James Harden scores 60 points as Houston Rockets beat the Atlanta Hawks 158-111
James Harden scored 60 points throughout the Houston Rockets’ 158-111 NBA win over the Atlanta Hawks for the fourth time in his career.
He dropped one point shy of the points haul and played just 31 minutes of the game.
Only Wilt Chamberlain (32) and Kobe Bryant (six) possess more 60-point hauls and Harden is tied with Michael Jordan.
“That’s a wonderful list on the market,” said Harden, who also had eight assists.
“Those guys are something that I am attempting to get to. Hopefully when it is all done and said, I could be mentioned in that category eternally.”
Harden can also be the fourth player to score 50 or more things on 20 events, after Chamberlain (118), Jordan (31) and Bryant (25).
He also scored 13 points in the third 18 from the next and 29, in the first quarter.
