Jordan Sinnott: Matlock Town defender dies aged 25
Matlock Town defender Jordan Sinnott has died at age 25.
He was also the son of former Huddersfield captain Lee Sinnott and has been on loan at the Premier Division side from Alfreton Town.
Matlock’s game against Mickleover Sports and Alfreton’s National League North fixture with Gateshead were both called off Saturday, with the sides citing”dreadful and unforeseen circumstances”.
Sinnott arrived via the Huddersfield academy and proceeded to create five appearances for the first group.
Even the Terries tweeted:”Everybody at Huddersfield Town is devastated to hear about the reduction of #htafc academy graduate Jordan Sinnott.
“Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this tragic time.”
He proceeded to play for Altrincham, Bury, Halifax and Chesterfield.
