Manuel Pellegrini: West Ham boss says pressure always there in ‘special’ Premier League season

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini insists stress is constantly on him during what he called a”particular” Premier League season.
Pellegrini has found himself under increasing pressure at the London Stadium, along with a 2-0 defeat to push Wednesday leaves West Ham two points above the relegation zone.

“It is a very important match because this year is a particular time in the Premier League,” Pellegrini added. “There are approximately 10 or 11 locations in five, four or six factors.
“When we beat Chelsea we needed to beat Wolves, but it’s not simple to beat all the teams away.
“I said if we drew against Chelsea and Wolves, that would be two quite good outcomes. But that’s just two things, and we have three factors.
“I am more concerned about the points we lost at home against Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Sheffield United. We can be in position, with five points . We must now focus on the next game and try to beat Arsenal.”
Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has an outside prospect of confronting his old team after his spell out hurt.
Wilshere last looked as a replacement in Everton on October 19 and hasn’t started because August from the Premier League.
