A non-runner in the current struggle, Fakir Doudairies is now 11/2 to acquire the Arkle, followed by Bapaume (12/1) and Cash Back (12/1), all of which were entered in the Dublin trial today.
Brewinupastorm (12) follows adjacent, then comes Melon (14/1) and International Citizen (16/1).
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson:”On a crucial Cheltenham trial day, Notebook has cemented himself as the favourite for the Arkle after a fighting off Cash Back.
“It remains to be seen if he’d have got the better of Fakir D’oudairies but you can only beat what’s in front of you and he’s done just that.”
