Although baseball hasn’t even begun yet, it’s never too early to check past the 162-game regular season at which teams will compete at the postseason as division champs. For the American League Central, it is the Minnesota Twins which are favored at -150 to win back division titles.
Online sportsbook BetOnline has the Twins as the favorites in -150 followed from the Cleveland Indians at +240, the Chicago White Sox at +300, the Kansas City Royals at +30000 and the Detroit Tigers in +50000.
The Twins snagged their AL Central Division title last season with a 101-win campaign but had been caught in three games in the ALDS to the New York Yankees. Minnesota led the majors and also had the average at .270. Together with the signing of 2015 AL MVP Josh Donaldson, the club looks to hit on more dingers.
The starting rotation was center of the road this past year, but another year of the addition of Kenta Maeda from the Dodgers and the pitching staff and growth to Jose Berrios should be fine. It makes sense that this team is the favorites with capable bats throughout a very more dangerous bullpen the lineup and a rotation, it is going to be challenging to knock off the Twins.

Cleveland will have a fresh look in end of its turning after 2014 and Corey Kluber, 2017 AL Cy Young winner, has been traded for pitching prospect Emmanuel Clase and Delino DeShields. That said, the spinning is still powerful with 2019 All-Star MVP Mike Clevinger, Shane Bieber, along with Carlos Carrasco holding the fort down.
The squad remained intact returning the side of Jose Ramirez and their infield Francisco Lindor and slugger Carlos Santana. The team was average in most offensive categories in 2019 so an uptick is required for this group to contend, but I feel they are a step behind the Twins.

This is also the World Series as a whole although my sleeper pick to the 2020 season, not just for the AL Central. Pitching and crime this team is balanced and harmful, although there’s still a lot of work to perform. After finishing worst or third third in the branch over the past seven seasons and not posting a record over .500 since 2012, the childhood from draft picks and trades are here??along with the White Sox would be prepared to contend .
The rotation has young arms in Lucas Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez and Dylan Cease, but in Gio Gonzalez and Dallas Keuchel, the South Siders brought in arms during free agency. As for the batting order, three notable sluggers were brought in using Yasmani Grandal, Nomar Mazar along with Edwin Encarnacion attracting their combined 81 homers to the plate. That is much needed with Chicago rank 25th in season. Throw in the evolution of young superstars Eloy Jimenez and Yoan Moncada, as well as 2019 batting boss Tim Anderson and a good deal of heads cans turn.

After it is difficult since Rome wasn’t built in a day to get too excited for 2020. That said the club will get a boost from catcher, that will probably play Sal Perez who overlooked the entire 2019 effort after undergoing Tommy John surgery, DH and some first. KC didn’t bring instead trusting its younger talent can continue to come up with and help to bring the group a couple more wins in 2020.

A similar story to the Royals is said concerning the Tigers who simply mustered 47 successes in 2019, the weakest in MLB. Unlike KC, though, Detroit did have a swing in some gift in free service, leading to 2nd baseman Jonathan Schoop and first baseman C.J. Cron.
Those two should provide a boost to a team that scored the most runs in the majors last season, but insufficient to make them a competitor. It’s not all doom and gloom to the Tigers, however, since they do have an ace in the hole at 2016 AL Rookie of the Year rookie Michael Fulmer likely returning to the turning midway through the year after falling all over 2019 rehabbing from knee operation.
