PRO14: Ulster beat Cheetahs on Ruan Pienaar’s return

Ulster stayed second in the Alliance A standings of This Guinness PRO14 by beating at the Cheetahs while Glasgow moved third with a win on the Dragons…

Ulster 20-10 Cheetahs
Fly-half Bill Johnston kicked 10 points since their chasing Seminar was conquered by Ulster A rivals Cheetahs 20-10 at Kingspan Stadium that was chilly.
The victory – that also saw the Irish state score attempts from winger Robert Baloucoune and prop Tom O’Toole in half – ensured that Ulster have gone 21 games at home.
The people, with former Ulster participant Ruan Pienaar within their ranks because of his first competitive game since leaving the province in 2017, scored a second-half try from full-back Clayton Bloometjies. Pienaar kicked a penalty and the conversion.
Glasgow Warriors 34-19 Dragons
Two tries from Glasgow hooker Grant Stewart saw off a spirited Dragons campaign since 34-19 winners in Scotstoun hurried out.
Huw Jones tim Swinson and Mesulame Dolokoto have been the try scorers at a win for the home side.
Dragons scrum-half Rhodri Williams’ dual demonstrated in vain because the Welsh side failed to take any things straight home.
Although the Dragons are fighting in fifth the victory takes the Warriors into third in the Alliance A standings, 1 place over the Cheetahs.
