Reading 0-1 Leeds United: Jack Harrison’s winner sends Leeds top of the Championship

As they overcome Reading in an abysmal encounter, jack Harrison goal delivered Leeds very top of the Championship.
Leeds and a Reading free-kick broke apart and Ezgjan Alioski discovered Helder Costa, whose cross evaded the Royals’ defence and allowed Harrison to head home at the far post.
The visitors dominated possession but created few straightforward chances, although Patrick Bamford chested over from a cross and Stuart Dallas struck the crossbar on 63 minutes.
Michael Morrison put Reading ahead midway through the second half, following the ball of John Swift caused confusion in the Leeds defence but his attempt from six yards flew .
Leeds moved a point clear of West Bromwich Albion, who face Bristol City on Wednesday and have a game in hand.
Reading, who from his first four matches in charge had taken 10 points under supervisor Mark Bowen, stay 18th having missing for a second successive game.
If Yakou Meite’s header from a corner was saved by Kiko Casilla the Royals may have gone together with the only chance of a poor first half.
However, while the target of the opposition was hit by either side twice, more half-chances were created by Leeds since they tried to break down a house defence.
