Toronto Wolfpack sign Brad Singleton and James Cunningham
Super League newcomers Toronto Wolfpack have followed the Catch of Sonny Bill Williams with the Registering of Leeds prop Brad Singleton and London Broncos hooker James Cunningham.
The most recent recruits are less large profile as the All Black but can add Super League encounter.
Writer Brian McDermott has returned to sign Singleton, who’ll help fill the void created by Ashton Sims’ retirement, although Cunningham is going to be regarded as a substitute.
Singleton, 27, who’s spent the previous nine seasons over the novels in Headingley and won the Grand Final in 2015 and 2017 beneath McDermott, combines the Canadian team on a three-year contract, whereas Cunningham, 25, that can also play half-back, has signed an two-year thing.
Cunningham started his career but had been in the London group that pulled off a shock win over the Wolfpack in the 2018 Million Pound Game to pip them.
Toronto manager of rugby Brian Noble said:”Both James and Brad are extremely hard workers on and off the area and we’re thrilled to have been in a position to procure their own signatures.
“We are always looking for ways to strengthen our team and this statement certainly does that.
“They’re known performers at the maximum level. We anticipate seeing James and Brad blend in our surroundings rapidly as we prepare to start our inaugural Super League campaign”
