Tyson Fury ‘must negate’ Deontay Wilder’s power, his trainer says
Tyson Fury’s trainer insists he’s better-equipped than Luis Ortiz was to prevent the energy of Deontay Wilder.
Wilder pumped out Ortiz to protect his WBC heavyweight title on Saturday night and turned his focus to a rematch.
After viewing Wilder’s brutal triumph from ringside, Fury’s trainer Ben Davison told Sky Sports regarding the threat of some KO:”Obviously it is something you need to try to negate.
“How do you do it? Surely Ortiz simply did. Fair play, he had a fantastic move but he walked into space and got complacent. That’s a recipe for disaster.
“Mentally Tyson is the most powerful fighter I have seen ever.
“Ortiz is a fantastic fighter but he is not Tyson Fury.
“Wilder was a different person this week to when he fought Tyson.
“Tyson got under his skin”
A lure in his first battle got off the ground and frustrated fury with Wilder.
