West Ham: ‘I don’t talk about future’ – Manuel Pellegrini
West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini says that he discusses the future with the club hierarchy.
The Chilean has been made in May 2018 however has come under increasing tension with five beats in the previous six league games.
The Hammers are one spot above the relegation zone with three wins from their 13 matches.
“You have to be apparent, it’s match ,” said Pellegrini before Saturday’s trip to Chelsea.
“We talk about the future”
Pellegrini, whose team finished 10th last semester, added:”This is precisely exactly the same question asked when we were winning.
“Football changes every match so we’re working to beat Chelsea and improve.”
Together with Lukasz Fabianski book goalkeeper Roberto, that joined on a free transfer from Espanyol in May, has been criticised during the bad run of West Ham.
Even the Spaniard was to blame again during Jose Mourinho’s first game in charge of Tottenham in the London Stadium last week, which Spurs won 3-2.
“Obviously I am concerned, however, it isn’t just about the goalkeeper,” Pellegrini said.
“Each time you decide your starting XI you’ve got the complete week to work with them, and the technical staff, about advantages and negative things.
“Obviously it’s not a comfortable spot (for Roberto). He knows just about his operation, he has a career behind him, he has been a very good player in large groups so of course he cannot be happy in the moment, but it is what has happened and he has to try to improve”
