Wilder vs Fury 2: Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn calls for undisputed title fight against Tyson Fury
Tyson Fury must face Anthony Joshua to eventually crown an undisputed winner, promoter Eddie Hearn says.
Fury’s sensational beating of Deontay Wilder on Saturday night in Las Vegas earned him the WBC name, meaning each heavyweight belt belongs to some Brit.
Joshua holds the IBF, WBA and WBO gold and Hearn, his promoter, believes there has never been a better time to agree that a mega-fight for every belt.
“Fury has been brilliant, and the tactics from [his coaches ] Sugarhill Steward and Andy Lee were put on,” Hearn completely told Sky Sports.
“For me personally, we should go directly into AJ v Fury next. Nobody wants to observe a third battle [between Fury and Wilder].”
Wilder and fury battled to a draw however the challenger made a breathtaking performance to win within seven weeks. An alternative does exists for a trilogy struggle between these.
Bob Arum’s Top Rank, who market the US profession of Fury , also oversee Kubrat Pulev who is predicted to be Joshua’s next opponent.
However, Hearn explained:”Top Rank market Pulev so that our opportunity to make sure it’s undisputed.”
Joshua prediction came true. He explained:”Fury can punch somewhat. He is suppressed with his hitting ability making him dangerous. Should you overlook a person it makes them dangerous as you don’t honor them till you get hit.”
Dillian Whyte, that has been the WBC No 1 contender since November 2017, is anticipating his shot.
